Fuel Storage for Heating Systems

Tank VTB 600V-D is a composite tank (a tank within a tank). The plastic tank-components are made using UV-stabilized polyethylene (PE) resin for greater protection from the sun’s rays and are produced using the rotational method (rotomolding). The specific PE resin used to make this product is a new generation material known as metallocene that is especially suited to the manufacture of tanks for fuel storage, as well as for engine oils. The external tank is made from colourless PE whereas for the internal tank, that comprises two layers, a colouring additive is added to make it white on the outside and black on the inside.

Both the internal and the external tanks come with a double-layer lid which closes the tank opening thus preventing dirt from entering inside the tank and at the same time it allows for normal ventilation. The bunded tank also allows for the use of a padlock to insure against the accidental mixing of the content of the tank with other substances. The design of VTB 600V-D complies with the provisions for fuel storage and also is in accordance with the provisions in force regarding the management of waste oil.
